Default Cloud VPS Servers:

All Cloud VPS Servers are provisioned with the cPanel tier plan “Admin” this has the limit of 5 accounts. VPS servers can host unlimited cPanel accounts as per each cPanel tier as shown above when upgraded to the next tier based on the amount of cPanel accounts the server needs to contain.

Default Cloud Dedicated Servers:

All Cloud Dedicated Servers are provisioned with the cPanel tier plan “Plus” this has the limit of 30 cPanel accounts. Cloud Dedicated servers can host unlimited cPanel accounts as per each cPanel tier as shown above when upgraded to the next tier based on the amount of cPanel accounts the server needs to contain.

How do I upgrade my license?

To upgrade your servers current cPanel tier plan please open a new ticket to the 24/7 support team or contact the live chat support team. The upgrade will need to be done via a ticket as upgrades may take some time depending on the current amount of cPanel accounts you have.

What Happens When I Hit My Tier/Plan Max Limit?

When you reach the max amount of allowed cPanel accounts under your current cPanel tier plan for your server. WHM and or cPanel will give you a message that you need to contact your web hosting provider to upgrade the license and it will not allow you to create more accounts until it is upgraded to the next license tier.

Can I avoid this?

Unfortunately this can not be avoided if you want to keep using cPanel. Please keep in mind this price increase and new pricing structure is a direct result from cPanel itself and not Fusion Arc Hosting. This new pricing structure is causing all web hosting providers globally to update prices on cPanel. For more information please contact our 24/7 support team or take a look at cPanel’s direct message for this change located here: https://blog.cpanel.com/account-based-pricing-updates/

However if you choose to transfer away from using cPanel as your control panel we can transfer your current server to another control panel that does not charge per account and only charges per month regardless the amount of accounts or websites you have on your server. The alternative control panels we support are: Interworx and Plesk. To get your server control panel transferred please contact our 24/7 support team.

Got Questions?

We understand that the new cPanel pricing structure can be confusing. We strive to provide the best possible service. If you have any questions about how this works or how this will affect you please contact our 24/7 support team. We are here and happy to help!
